About the Project

Family Law and Economic Security in the V4 is a comparative research initiative bringing together leading family law experts from Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary, and Poland to examine how legal systems protect individuals and families when relationships break down.

Outdated family law systems can leave divorced or separated partners—especially caregivers—financially vulnerable.

EVENTS & PROJECT OUTPUTS

The project brings together legal scholars, researchers, policymakers, and students from across the V4 region through a series of workshops, conferences, and collaborative research activities. Alongside these events, the project will produce comparative academic and policy outputs focused on strengthening family law and economic security in Central Europe.
